Hyderabad, December 13, 2008: Times Private Treaties (TPT) participated at the Indian School of Business (ISB) conference in collaboration with the Strategic Management Society (SMS), USA, on "Emerging India: Strategic Innovation in a Flat World". The international conference was held from December 12-14, 2008, at the ISB campus, Hyderabad and led by Professor C.K. Prahalad, Paul and Ruth McCracken, Distinguished University Professor of Strategy, Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.
On TPT’s participation at the conference, Sukanto Aich, Director, South said, “The conference provided an excellent platform for Times Private Treaties to present our unique business model in the context of innovation and its relevance in taking Indian Corporate to the next level of growth. The interactive session provided an opportunity to interact with policy makers and industry leaders to share case studies on how Times Private Treaties could help leapfrog growth in both early stage and mature companies across industry verticals”.
The conference witnessed participation of many esteemed industry panelists like KV Kamath, ICICI, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Biocon, Ramalinga Raju, Satyam Computers, D. Shivakumar, NOKIA India, PMS Prasad, Reliance Petroleum, Analjit Singh, Max India Limited, Venkatraman Thyagarajan, GlaxoSmithKline India, Tejpreet Chopra, GE and Mukesh Aghi, U21Global to name a few.
The conference attracted participation from 45 Indian and 120 international business schools. About 50 Deans of leading international business schools such as INSEAD, Kellogg, Chicago Graduate School of Business, IESE Business School, HKUST and Indian business schools such as ISB, IIM- Calcutta were present at the Dean’s Conclave.
Renowned academics such as Tarun Khanna, Harvard; Pankaj Ghemawat, IESE, Spain; Harbir Singh, Wharton and Area Leader of Strategy at the ISB; Yves Doz, INSEAD, and others lead several discussions on issues of globalisation of India Inc, multinational innovations in India, Indian leadership in strategy, etc.
The conference provided a common platform for industry professionals to interact with the academia and bring alive the realisms of managing innovations in the corporate world.
